That's right. I crocheted a sweater for a six to nine month old baby. Thank you very much, I shall take the credit and shall boast over this feat. Thank you very much dammit.

To answer your question about the brims on my hats it all depends on the stitch used. If I'm working in HDC's I usually just do the first row 2sc in the first stitch & then 2 HDC's in each stitch then end with 2sc the next row I do a sc in the first 2 stitches & a HDC in each stitch. You have to play with it but the basic formula is increase by double then go back to the single stitches. It works by going from a single strand of yarn to doubling up for the brim also. Hope that helps
